If you need help with your own application, we are the wrong door
We are not HUD and not a housing authority. We cannot look up your application, move you on a waiting list, or tell you whether you were approved. Only the housing authority you applied to can do any of that.
Find your housing authority's phone number — it is on your state's page.
What to send us
- A phone number or address that is wrong or disconnected.
- A property that has closed, been sold, or no longer takes assistance.
- A page that does not load, or looks broken on your phone.
- Anything on a guide that reads as inaccurate or out of date.
Tell us which page you were on if you can — the form records that automatically, but a sentence of detail helps us find the record faster.
Where to get real help right now
- Housing counseling, free: HUD funds approved counseling agencies nationwide. Find a HUD-approved housing counselor, or call (800) 569-4287.
- Housing crisis or homelessness: dial 211 or visit 211.org for local emergency assistance.
- Housing discrimination: file a complaint with HUD's Office of Fair Housing — file a fair housing complaint, or call (800) 669-9777.

If your listing is wrong, send the correction through the form and say which page it is on. We publish what HUD publishes, so we will also point you at HUD's own update process — fixing it at the source fixes it everywhere, not just here.
We deliberately do not publish an email address here; the form goes to the same place and keeps us from drowning in spam. Nothing you send is sold or shared — see our privacy policy.
