Privacy policy

Short version: we do not ask who you are, we do not set tracking cookies, and your location never leaves your device. There is nothing here to sell, so we do not sell anything.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, logins, or profiles — the whole site works without signing in.
• No tracking cookies and no advertising cookies at this time.
• No applications. We cannot take a Section 8 application, so we never ask for a Social Security number, income, or household details. If a site claiming to be us asks for those, it is not us.

Your location on the "near me" page

If you tap "Find housing near me", your browser asks your permission and gives the page your approximate coordinates. Those coordinates are used inside your browser to sort a list of cities, and that is the end of it. They are never sent to us, never stored, and never logged. Declining permission costs you nothing — every city page is reachable by browsing.

The feedback form

When you send a report, we receive what you type, the page you sent it from, the time, your browser's user-agent string, and your IP address. We use them to reproduce and fix the problem you are reporting. The email field is optional and only used to reply.

Reports are stored in Cloudflare R2, hosted in the United States, and are not shared with anyone or used for marketing.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that count page views without fingerprinting or profiling visitors. There is no cross-site tracking and no personal profile behind a visit, which is why you do not see a cookie banner here.

Advertising

The site currently shows no ads. If we add advertising, we will update this page before it goes live, label ads clearly, and honor applicable consent requirements. Ads will never be presented as housing listings.

Hosting and logs

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy .

Links to other sites

We link to HUD, housing authorities, and property phone numbers. Once you follow a link or place a call, that organization's own privacy practices apply, not ours.

Children

This site is written for adults applying for housing and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

Because we do not build profiles, there is usually nothing of yours for us to hand over or delete. If you sent a feedback report and want it removed, send another report describing it and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried.
